We are an established Concrete and Quarrying group operating in South East Asia with headquarters in Singapore. We have a position for a suitably qualified candidate to join our team in Vietnam:
Operations Manager-Concrete
The position is responsible for managing a team in excess of 50 staff across 3 locations and with primary responsibility for concrete production, quality control and maintenance.
Requirements:
A degree in civil engineering or management.
A minimum of 10 years’ industry experience and 5 years’ experience managing a multi-plant readymix concrete operation.
Comes with substantial “hands on” concrete production experience.
Can show their knowledge of concrete production and how sequencing and equipment matching impact the potential output per hour of a concrete plant.
Can sight specific cases where they have themselves identified “bottle necks” and how they were able to improve capacity to at least the manufacturer’s specification.
Is highly disciplined and dedicated to continuous improvement.
Will be comfortable working in a foreign language.
A strong commitment to health and safety as well as housekeeping.
